Meet the Team
Dr. Peter Kreymerman MD, FACS
Medical Director
Dr. Peter Kreymerman (he goes by “Dr. K”) was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He studied medicine at the University of Cincinnati. After completing his Medical Doctorate he moved back to Cleveland to pursue his general and plastic surgery residencies at the world-famous Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Kreymerman was recruited to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona where he became a tenured consultant and assistant professor; performing complex operations, teaching residents & medical students, and leading clinical research. He was twice recognized as a Mayo Scholar. He expanded his skill-set in complex breast surgery, advanced facial aesthetics, and in oculoplastics. More recently Dr. Kreymerman relocated to Cary, NC with his wife and two children. He has quickly built a reputation as someone who provides excellent outcomes, has a strong aesthetic eye, and truly cares for his patients. He continues to educate future doctors and has an appointed position as an assistant professor of plastic surgery at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a board certified plastic surgeon, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeon, and a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has published numerous journals, chapters, is frequently asked to speak at conferences, and enjoys what he does.
Jessica Clifford
BSN, RN, Aesthetic Injector
Jessica is an aesthetic nurse specialist with over 10 years of injectables experience. She is one of the only thread lift providers in the Triangle Area, and is a Master Trained injector for Botox and Juvederm. In addition, Jessica has attended over 100 additional training classes, conferences, and symposiums. She has advanced certifications in facial anatomy, threads, toxins and fillers. Jessica loves what she does, and is passionate about delivering the best results and outcomes for her clients.
Valerie Toler
MSN, FNP-C, Aesthetic Injector, Medical Provider
Valerie brings over 10 years of medical experience to our Practice. She has a strong passion for aesthetic medicine and holds a Master’s degree in nursing. She has attended numerous trainings such as advanced injection skills, facial anatomy, as well as aesthetic symposiums and conferences. Two of Valerie’s best traits are her eye for detail and gentle touch while injecting.
Taylor Hettinger
PA-C, Medical Provider
Taylor is a Certified Physician Assistant with a background in Family Medicine. She has a passion for dermatology, wellness, and aesthetics. Born and raised in NY, she gained her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She moved to NC in 2022 and has really enjoyed being closer to the Outer Banks. She is devoted to helping people feel healthy and beautiful on the inside and out.
Norma
Certified Medical Assistant
Norma holds an AS degree in Medical Assisting from ECPI University, Raleigh, NC (2010). A North Carolina native, Norma is also certified in Phlebotomy and EKG, and has additional experience in Urgent Care and Pediatrics. Norma has a special interest in improving patients’ self-esteem through successful treatment of various skin issues.
Dakota
Aesthetic Assistant
With over 15 years of experience in customer service, Dakota has honed exceptional skills in creating a relaxing and welcoming environment for clients. Her expertise in managing client needs, resolving concerns, and providing personalized experiences has earned her a reputation for delivering top-tier service. Passionate about wellness and customer satisfaction, she excels in ensuring every guest leaves feeling welcomed and cared for. Her dedication to cultivating a professional atmosphere has made her an invaluable asset to the Team. In her spare time, you can find taking walks with her husband, checking out local food joints, or shopping the day away!
Nina
Licensed Aesthetician, Medical Assistant
Nina has been in the aesthetics industry for 20 years and has 17 years of laser experience. She is laser certified by Alma, Sciton, and Benev. Nina is passionate about microneedling, lasers, educating clients, and creating customized treatments for her clients. She takes pride in her attention to detail, ensuring she delivers optimum results for her clients.
Donielle
Licensed Aesthetician, Medical Assistant
Donielle brings over 18 years of experience in aesthetics and skin care. She is trained and certified by the National Laser Institute and holds additional laser certifications from Alma and Sciton. She has a deep passion for her clients and helping them achieve their skin care goals through treatment plans and skin care regimens.
Bethany
Licensed Aesthetician, Medical Assistant
Bethany has been working in medical esthetics since 2011. She holds certifications by Benev and Sciton and has attended advanced training for BBL and Moxi. In addition, she is a SkinCeuticals certified Ambassador. She likes to utilize her experience working under multiple physicians to combine modalities that address each client’s individual skin concerns in the most effective way. She has a great way of connecting with her clients, and is passionate about helping each one feel beautiful in their own skin.
Amy
Customer Service
Amy is a Colorado native but has called NC home since 2000. She comes to us with a background in exercise science and over 20 years of customer service in the fitness, health and wellness industry. She has a passion to help others look and feel their best in order to experience the highest quality of life available to them. In her spare time she enjoys recharging by spending time reading on the porch, writing, yoga and hiking.
Kathy
Customer Service
Kathy has lived in Holly Springs for the past 18 years with her husband and four children. She has been in customer service business ever since she was 16 years old, and enjoys helping people, making them feel appreciated, and at ease. When not at work you will find Kathy out and about hiking with her Siberian Husky, kayaking, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
Carolyn
Customer Service
Carolyn has extensive customer service experience, having worked for Lufthansa German Airlines in first-class passenger service and being a successful business entrepreneur in luxury silk floral design. She strives to deliver the best client experience possible with a warm smile and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Carolyn is known for her friendly, detail-oriented approach, ensuring every client feels valued and appreciated. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont and speaks five languages.
Barb
Customer Service
Barb has lived in Holly Springs with her husband for 20 years and their 3 sons. She loves greeting and taking care of our clients, while creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. Her nurturing and calm presence has endeared her with both clients and the Thrive Team. With her spare time she likes to crochet, knit, garden and create. And she loves to cuddle with her two adorable fluffy dogs.
Ashley
Customer Service
Ashley is a North Carolina native and attended NC State University where she majored in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. With over 10 years experience in customer service, she has a passion for serving others and brings a high level of care and commitment to our clients. She is currently pursuing an aesthetician license, and is looking forward to a career in Aesthetics where she can continue to foster her love for serving others. Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving with kids at church, exercising, baking, and spending time outdoors.
Rachel
Operations and Client Relations Manager
Rachel is originally from Fayetteville, GA. She came to NC to be closer to family and loves it here! With a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Pre-Law, Rachel decided early in her career path she would like to do something different and thought the medical field would be a great way to expand her knowledge in customer care. Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends when she is not at work and also enjoys reading, museums, and exploring Raleigh.
Julie
Practice Manager
Originally from New England, Julie moved to NC in 2012 to be closer to family. She spent 25 years in corporate retail, starting her career in cosmetics and skin care. She returned to the industry as a licensed esthetician and now enjoys the role of Practice Manager. Julie is passionate about the aesthetics field and helping all clients feel confident in their skin.
