J. Stewart Carr, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Carr completed his medical degree and residency training at Queens University, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He received his undergraduate degree in Biophysics from the University of Guelph, Canada. He has been practicing in the Raleigh area since 1992. He is the proud Dad of 8 children, and is active in his church as well as his kids activities. In his spare time, he enjoys basketball, fishing, and the great outdoors.

Rebecca Holt, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

Rebecca holds a BA in Psychology from Meredith College, Raleigh, NC (1999), and a Master’s degree from Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Roanoke, VA (2004). Her past experience includes Urgent Care medicine, Family Practice, and Emergency Room Medicine. Rebecca began working in Dermatology in 2006 and has a special interest in prevention and early detection of skin cancers.

Hannah McDougal


Hannah graduated from Campbell University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also completed her Master of Physician Practice degree in 2016 at Campbell University. Before joining our practice, she worked as an Emergency Department Physician Assistant throughout the triangle. Hannah lives in Holly Springs with her husband and is excited to serve the community in which she resides.

Registered Nurse

Jessica holds a BS in Nursing, from North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC (2015). A member of the Dermatology Nurses Association, Jessica specializes in cosmetic procedures including Botox injections, fillers, skin rejuvenation lasers, laser hair removal, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion.

Certified Medical Assistant

Norma holds an AS degree in Medical Assisting from ECPI University, Raleigh, NC (2010). A North Carolina native, Norma is also certified in Phlebotomy and EKG, and has additional experience in Urgent Care and Pediatrics. Norma has a special interest in improving patients’ self-esteem through successful treatment of various skin issues.

Nina has been in the industry for 13 years. She has spent almost 10 of those years working with lasers. She specializes in hair removal, skin resurfacing and tightening, and peels. She is excited to be a part of our growing team and is just as passionate about acne as she is about lasers. When not at work, Nina enjoys riding her motorcycle and doing home improvement projects.

As a veteran Aesthetician since 2005, Donielle’s mission is to give her patients the best care possible. Her passion is to help and educate patients with their skin care needs. In addition, Donielle has continued to grow her skills by attending the National Laser Institute in AZ and receiving Laser Safety Officer training. Donielle resides in Holly Springs with her amazing husband and 3 beautiful children.

Manager, Client Relations

Rachel is originally from Fayetteville, GA. She came to NC to be closer to family and loves it here! With a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Pre-Law, Rachel decided early in her career path she would like to do something different and thought the medical field would be a great way to expand her knowledge in customer care. Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends when she is not at work and also enjoys reading, museums, and exploring Raleigh.

Julie, Practice Manager


Practice Manager

A New England native, Julie brings to us 25 years of experience in business development and senior leadership roles. She has a passion for business and the medical aesthetics industry, and loves being able to blend both here at the Practice. When not at the office, you can find Julie and her husband tackling their latest DIY project, working and training their 2 Rotties, volunteering in the community, or spending time with family and friends.
